Background to these Nepal Updates

We have been supporting projects in Nepal for many years now and each year a group goes out to work in several schools in a poor part of the Kathmandu valley.

The Peace Garden School has been constructed using funds raised by St Andrews and Birkdale School.

Many of these updates contain e-mails written by myself and my friend Mike who lives with his wife Patti in Kathmandu.

Mike runs a business over there and ensures that all our funds are spent just as we would wish.

There are sometimes e-mails from the Head Masters of the schools we teach in when we go to Nepal. (Arjun and Janak).  They all live in a poor area of Nepal where the earthquake had devastating effects.

There are also e mails from two Christian Nepalese friends of mine – Milan (married to Shusma) and Ashok (married to Romila).
