We meet in a room that looks more like a community centre than a church with heating and carpet! We love to welcome anyone who would like to find out more about God and we’re pretty relaxed and informal in style. Children are especially welcome even if they make a noise.
The usual pattern of services is as follows each month:
1st Sunday Holy Communion (plus children’s church)
2nd Sunday All Age (children stay in the whole time)
3rd Sunday Holy Communion (plus children’s church)
4th Sunday Informal Service (plus children’s church)
[Sometimes this pattern is interrupted when we celebrate things like Education Sunday or have Mothering Sunday so check the news page for changes.]
On the 2nd Sunday of the month at 7pm, there is Praise Night – an hour of worshipping God with songs and hymns. This is a wonderful time for space with God.
We are part of Churches Together in Dronfield and District and meet together at 6.30pm every 3rd Sunday of the month at the Baptist Church, Dronfield (near Sainsbury's).
We also occasionally have a Hymn Sing service on a Sunday afternoon. Look at news for dates.
Meeting in smaller groups either weekly or fortnightly is and important part of our church life. If you are interested in joining or even starting one please get in touch with Ruth Turner by email vicar@staccd.org.uk
